La Tremblade

La Tremblade is a small town in western France, in the peninsula between the Garonne River and the Seudre River. Called "La Cote Sauvage" (Wild Coast), this region is renowned for its oyster farming and many of the tidal creeks are filled with rusting boats and oyster frames. This region undergoes a transformation twice a day as the tides recede, leaving the fishing and pleasure boats high and dry.
