I've been a potter for twelve years and am primarily self-taught. The last several years I've worked in earthenware, using traditional techniques to produce slip trailed and sgrafitto designed redware and earthenware. My designs are inspired by early American pottery and folk art. I use only lead free glazes. Most pieces are "one of a kind".
