David Bowerman Biography
My art is considered inner realism. It is a metaphor for what a thing is. It attempts to remove the mask, the incomplete way we view ourselves, others, objects in a too fast world. My art is not the more familiar outer representation, but the energy, the vibrations that make a thing what it is.

For 25 years, I have worked full time as an artist. By education I am an engineer, by imperative an artist. After receiving some basic instruction in drawing and painting, I am predominantly self-taught. Using traditional methods and materials, I create paintings, sculptures, and drawings that are considered an original vision.
